Working with a small team to prepare and deliver an unforgettable dining experience filled with first class magic, food and hospitality.
Keeping each area of the kitchen fully stocked, safe, clean and organized.
We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers. Cook responsibilities include studying recipes and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be familiar with sanitation regulations. If you have experience with advanced cooking techniques and non-traditional ingredients, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our guests.
$500 signing-bonus after 90 days!
Responsibilities
- Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
- Cook food in a timely manner
- Inform wait staff about meal and course ingredients
- Ensure appealing plate presentation
- Supervise BOH staff and assist as needed
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy, allergy)
- Monitor food stock, properly rotate and complete inventories
- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Help with dishes and cleaning
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
- Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques preferred
- Leadership skills and team working
- Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
- Excellent time management abilities
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations
