Coffee Table, a new grab-and-go boutique convenience store in Grand Central Terminal, is looking for hard working and incredibly personable individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate would also be an early riser and a self-starter. Experience in a fast paced retail environment is a plus but not required. Simply put, we are looking for the right personality and not the perfect skill set.

Position: Boutique Coffee, Beer and Grocery Store Salesperson

Compensation: Hourly

Time Commitment:
• Part-time (3-4 shifts/week) with potential for immediate growth
• Weekends, morning, and holiday work shifts are mandatory – we are not hiring for 9am-5pm workers

• Ability to help meet and exceed retail sales goals

• Organizational and follow-up skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have flexible schedule to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, nimble and comfortable working in small spaces

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service for our customers by maintaining a friendly and upbeat disposition at all times
• Responsible for helping to maintain and expand customer sales
• Capable of opening and closing the shop independently
• Maintain and organize inventory on sales floor and stock room
• Help with everyday up keep of shop, including basic cleaning
• Communicate regularly with management and ownership about daily events
