Front of House Key Employee

Prime Hospitality Group (PHG) is a franchisee of Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. PHG was founded by husband-and-wife team Kristy and Ryan Rans. As an attorney and expert in real estate development and restaurant concepts respectively, Kristy and Ryan became some of the first non-legacy Ruth’s Chris Steak House franchise owners in the country, building a new generation of trust and quality into the Ruth’s Chris family. We are a growing steadily with 7 locations in IN, MO, AR (and slated to open IA in ’23). We are looking for the next leader to join our growing team. We are looking for a Front of House Key employee who has had experience in a fine dining and/or upscale restaurant to assist our management team. This individual would show a drive for leadership, charisma and passion for hospitality, and close attention to detail. Interested? Let’s discuss further!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Demand for Excellence

  • Always maintain a professional business demeanor and appearance.
  • Ensure that all front-of-the-house cleaning, maintenance, housekeeping, and side work duties are accomplished.

Passion for Hospitality

  • Serve as a support to FOH staff, assisting in the resolution of any guest issues, complaints, or dissatisfaction exercising good judgment and decision making to quickly resolve the situation,

Hunger to Grow

  • Participate in and timely completion of training developed by the management team.
  • Participate in on-going front of the house staff meetings.

Unwavering Commitment

  • Participate in pre-shift line-up meetings with all front-of-the-house personnel.
  • Count on a monthly basis all front of house food and beverage inventory (include that located in the bar area and wine, beer, and liquor storage areas) following the sheet to shelf process. Ensure that all restaurant items are ordered from approved vendors and meet corporate specifications.

Desire to Win

  • Assist with manager opening and closing duties.
  • Proactively communicate to the management team.

Requirements & Physical Demands:

  • Must have experience as a server, runner, or server assistant, preferable in an upscale fine dining restaurant.
  • Must have above average computer skills including a familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat on a frequent basis to receive and store stock, supplies and equipment as well as to work the line during service periods.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to (8) hours in length.
  • Must be able to lift, handle, and carry food, supply, smallwares, equipment, supplies and paper goods at a minimum of 50 pounds.
