Job purpose

Taking and delivering food and drink orders, ensuring your tables are maintained and working collaboratively with the entire team.

Duties and responsibilities

• Greet guests, take and deliver orders
• Answer questions and make suggestions based on their preferences
• Suggestively sell
• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Maintain all running side-work
• Provide team service by assisting all tables with orders, drink refills and food delivery.
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules
• Issue bills and accept payment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous server experience preferred
• Excellent oral communication and listening skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Excellent customer service skills
