Full Job Description
Restaurant Sous Chef, $22 p/h.
The Restaurant Sous Chef assists the Chef in oversight of all kitchen operations. The Sous Chef assures kitchen cleanliness and that all kitchen employees are meeting health dept standards, prepares list of food inventories and supplies for Executive Chef to order daily, makes sure that each menu item is prepared according to company standards.
Help train kitchen staff, make sure all orders are received and placed in storage using our guidelines, make sure all orders coming in are correct and mistakes are corrected according to our agreement with our vendors, responsible for creating daily specials, scheduling all kitchen employees, managing kitchen staff and dishwashers.
Works with Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Chef to assure that payroll costs are kept to budgetary standards.
