Full Job Description

As the Deli Taqueria Clerk you will provide excellent customer service and make made-to-order taqueria menu items. The responsibilities may also include prep work, making salsa, creating and packaging taqueria items for the grab-and-go meals, grilling food on an open flame grill. Maintain the taqueria area and practice safe food handling.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Duties:

  • Manage and maintain Taqueria standards
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Accurately prepare orders
  • Clean equipment, work areas as well as safe job areas (floors, counters, work tables, etc.)
  • Sanitize and clean equipment as needed
  • Operate equipment when needed
  • Waste management


Requirements:

  • 18 years +
  • Demonstrated ability in knife handling, other cutting equipment and safety procedures
  • Strong work ethic
  • Prep/cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk on feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to listen and follow instruction
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to work well with customers and co-workers in a fast paced environment
  • Understand and adhere to all Oliver’s policies and procedures so as to handle food properly and safely
  • Follow and enforce all applicable State of California Health and Safety Codes
