Hiring for 2 roles:

Front-Of-House Staff
You’ll be a jack-of-all-trades and help with everything from cleaning, restocking, packing up orders, handling inbound phone calls, customer communications, managing the POS and tickets, ensure order accuracy, and most importantly, making sure we get orders perfect and delight customers. You’ll be the eyes/ears/assistant to our sushi chefs in order to support them with whatever they need, which at times, might include some ultra basic food prep. You might need to go back/forth to our warehouse to pick up supplies, and you’ll likely help out delivering our catering to corporate offices as well. Must have a car with valid license/registration and a good driving record. Must be a good communicator, and great listener, so you can delight our customers and ensure they’re happy. Must speak good english. $20/hr. Somewhat flexible schedule. Part time to start, but opportunity to go full time should come within a month.

Sushi Chef
$25/hr. We focus on quality, but ultra high end fish, and need an experienced chef to join our staff for day-to-day operations as well as catering. We make our flagship Sushi boats (see sushiboat.com) as well as rolls, nigiri, sashimi, bowls, sides, housemade sauces, etc. Part time to start, but opportunity to go full time should come within a month.

About Sushi Boat
We are a ghost kitchen in Sunnyvale, located within the Cloud Kitchens facility. We do not have any dine-in so it’s pick up and delivery only. We do a bunch of corporate catering too, and our flagship product is our Sushi Boats, which you can see on sushiboat.com. We sell direct and on the 3rd party platforms, have a 4.9 rating on Google, and pride ourselves on our quality and reputation. We are constantly interfacing with our customers to get feedback and incorporate it into our business.

We also do grab n prep for our customers and start at 6 AM every day. We need to hire for both of the positions above for a 6AM-1PM type of shift. This is our most urgent need!
