Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef who has catering experience and cooking in large batches. The job will require working 8-10 hours once a week on Sundays only. The Head Chef will be responsible for the weekly meal production and directing a small team.

Responsibilities

  • Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
  • Construct healthy focused, low calorie menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
  • Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages

Skills

  • Proven experience as head chef
  • Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Credentials in health and safety training

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
