We’re hiring at our Japanese omakase restaurant in San Francisco’s Mission District.
SUSHI CHEF — Part-Time / Full-Time (PT/FT)
Previous experience is preferred, but we are also looking for individuals with strong fundamentals, professionalism, and a desire to grow.
– Responsibilities:
Support omakase service and hot/cold prep
Prepare fish and ingredients, including basic butchery, portioning, and organization
Maintain station cleanliness and food safety standards, including proper temperature control
Assist with inventory, ordering, and daily prep lists
Work cleanly and efficiently during service while communicating effectively with the team
– Requirements:
Japanese kitchen experience preferred; omakase experience is a plus
Strong knife skills and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a high-standard environment
Authorized to work in the U.S.

DOE (depending on experience)
