Carolina Lowcountry along the beautiful May River, The Inn at Palmetto Bluff is the

The 20,000-acre tract known as Palmetto Bluff extends from
the headwaters of the May River near the town of Bluffton, skirts Bull and Dafuskie
Islands via the Cooper River to its east, and gives way finally to the ancient freshwater
rice fields of the New River along its western edge. The land mass defined by these three
historic rivers is thus an island in the truest sense, and that is surely one of the
reasons it remains so pristine today.

For more than a century, “The Bluff” has been
known to a privileged few as one of the wildest and most beautiful places in the Carolina
Lowcountry – itself an area recognized as one of the most picturesque in the world.

Here, amid spectacular natural beauty rich in wildlife, a
diverse group of people will create their own legacy of living as well by connecting to
themselves, their families, one another and the wonders of creation.

trip to The Inn at Palmetto Bluff is a journey to Nirvana. The May River Golf Club is an
18-hole, Jack Nicklaus signature course, weaving throughout the May River Forest and
featuring several holes right on the banks of the river.

With 7,171 square yards, this amazing course is a
spectacular blend of championship-level design and natural beauty that will challenge
golfers of all skill levels. All tee boxes and fairways feature Paspalum, the newest
eco-friendly turf.

Wide, inviting fairways are strategically bunkered and
feature natural waste areas. Your nerves will be tested on the approach by Championship
Bermuda greens which are well guarded by white-sand bunkers and feature gentle undulating
slopes to challenge your putting skills. Finally, the back nine features three par 3’s,
three par 4’s, and three par 5’s.

Caddie service is required with each round, and we
encourage you to walk the course so you can best appreciate the majesty of the century-old
live oaks and the beautiful native landscape.
